What is Blue Moon Investigations?<\/p>\n
This was the author\u2019s first love and the series that got him started as a novelist. First conceived in the twilight days of his Army career, Tempest Michaels was his solution to the hearing so many people comment on their own supernatural experiences.<\/p>\n
Tempest Michaels didn\u2019t set out to be a paranormal investigator. In fact, he firmly believes everything supernatural is utter rubbish, nothing more than the fanciful imagination of people willing to choose an improbable explanation over a rational one. across the series, he finds himself pitched against all manner of foes, from witches to ghosts and werewolves to vampires, there even a yeti for him to tackle. With the often questionable help of his parents and friends, relationship advice from Mr Wriggly, whose one-track mind is never very helpful, and constant companionship from his two dogs Bull and Dozer, his business goes from strength to strength.<\/p>\n
It doesn\u2019t take long for him to realise he needs another detective which is where Amanda Harper comes in. She is actually the very first character to be introduced in the first book. No sooner does he hire her, than he takes on an assistant too. Jane Butterworth also gets her own adventures and there are a lot more books to come.<\/p>\n
